The LG HOM-BOT Square Robotic Vacuum with Mop has a large slide-in microfiber mop that picks up fine residue and stains on hard surface flooring like stone and tile.

HOM-BOT features Corner Master™, a square design, with two long brushes and multiple sensors. The brushes are longer than those of previous models, while various sensors aid the cleaner in recognizing its position for cleaning around objects with minimal collisions. Its unique square shape gets closer to edges for more complete cleaning, and a powerful main brush loosens and sweeps debris, while side brushes pick up along edges.

HOM-BOT features Triple Eye 2.0™ camera technology for faster, more efficient performance. The dual cameras take images by scanning ceilings, walls and floors and automatically analyzes to generate navigational mapping. The upper camera is also tasked with simultaneously mapping and storing house floor plans, while the lower camera incorporates Optical Flow Sensor to capture surface images at high speeds and report obstacles back to the decision-making software. The two cameras combined allow the device to calculate distance and plot courses that maximize cleaning efficiency.

Users will enjoy the ability to easily check a cleaning diary, cleaning mode, battery status, cleaning schedule and more, as well as monitor how the vacuum’s coverage via their smart phone. They will also enjoy a host of convenient features including 90+ alerts, including status on its cleaning progress. This model has a two-type network module (Wi-Fi, NFC) for additional value when using a smartphone and supports two types of control user interface. Two new functions of the HOM-BOT are used in conjunction with its monitoring camera and Wi-Fi/NFC connectivity. The first is its HomeView™ function, allowing users to check inside of their homes while away, access the vacuum, move it elsewhere and monitor the house. Meanwhile, the HomeGuard™ function allows the vacuum to move to a designated location and send up to five images of any unusual activity as a safeguard against intruders or any suspicious activity.
