Crestron delivers flawless end-to-end 4K distribution with the new 4K DigitalMedia™ Receiver and Room Controller with Scaler and Downmixing (DM-RMC-4K-SCALER-C-DSP). This compact, one-box solution enables the integration of spectacular Ultra HD or 4K DCI with complete control and advanced digital audio processing, anywhere in the home.

The DM 4K Receiver and Room Controller with Scaler and Downmixing provides a compact, one-box solution for integrating a display into a complete DigitalMedia™ system. To ensure an optimal viewing experience, it features the industry’s first and only 4K/60 scaler, which scales any resolution and frame-rate to any other up to 4096x2160 at 60Hz. Built-in DSP enables multi-channel surround sound signals to be decoded and to simultaneously transmit a 2-channel downmix to powered speakers and amplifiers in any room of the house.

An optimal image is ensured on any screen no matter what source is selected. It scales any resolution and framerate to any other up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. For example, it will downscale 4K content for HD displays, or upscale HD content for 4K displays. In addition to CEC control capabilities via HDMI, the DM-RMC-4K-SCALER-C offers Ethernet, RS-232, and IR ports, to ensure fully customized control.

The box fits easily behind a flat screen TV, connecting with a DM^® switcher up to 330 feet away over CAT5e (or DM 8G^®) cable. It provides one HDMI^® output to the display device, supporting 1080p, 2K, 4K, 3D, Deep Color, HDCP, and 7.1 audio. In addition, a balanced analog audio output allows stereo audio from the digital stream to be fed to a local amplifier to a pair of powered speakers. 

The DM-RMC-4K-SCALER-C provides zoom capability and bezel compensation, so multiple units may be combined to configure video walls of up to 64 displays (8 wide by 8 high).
