RIVA FESTIVAL delivers stereophonic sound for a compact audio experience as close to live as it gets with technology to compliment listeners’ modern lifestyle. FESTIVAL is the second speaker in the WAND (Wireless Audio Network Design) Series, a customizable and easy-to-use multi-space audio system delivering high-quality sound to every room or outdoor location from any networked or local source. FESTIVAL delivers high-fidelity audio wirelessly and without restrictions through innovative achievements in engineering.

RIVA’s WAND series is designed with an open architecture, and offers multiple connectivity options. Systems can range from a single direct connection to a whole-environment wireless networked audio system that can simultaneously stream to up to 32 speakers. Listen to high-resolution music, networked digital music files, podcasts, YouTube channels, or music services like Pandora and Spotify through multiple wireless connectivity options including Wi-Fi, DDMS, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, DLNA, Bluetooth and Chromecast built-in enabled. RIVA WAND’s dual band Wi-Fi supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks for greater robustness and reliability against interference.

RIVA’s patented audio technology, Trillium™ uses three separate channels to create a stereophonic sound field that’s much larger than the actual speaker size. Trillium allows the signal power of the audio to be reproduced without perceptible compression.

RIVA FESTIVAL’s audio design features three 4-inch, custom, splash-resistant, long-throw aluminum ADX woofers and three 20mm silk dome tweeters that seamlessly reproduces a full frequency of sound from 38Hz to 25kHz. RIVA’s 6-channel amplifier uses advanced digital signal processing and the finest components to deliver over 200 Watts of power with extremely low distortion.

RIVA FESTIVAL’s four balanced passive radiators increase bass output without increased vibrations, allowing listeners to play high volumes without extraneous noise. Finally, FESTIVAL’s main enclosure, like a hi-fi speaker, uses a braced and damped wood structure that minimizes acoustic resonance and coloration of the music.

RIVA’s WAND series offers consumers a customizable, simple solution to conveniently enjoy high-quality music their way - in every room wirelessly from nearly any networked or online source. RIVA FESTIVAL’s modern design compliments any décor while improving performance. The top cover utilizes an attractive, impact and scratch resistant polycarbonate for a long lasting out-of-the-box appearance. The speaker’s black with anthracite or white with silver finishes hide an acoustically braced, low-resonance MDF wood shell similar to that of a high-end audiophile speaker and that eliminates the coloration that typically occurs with plastic cabinets.

The FESTIVAL’s design contributes to the ease of use with five rubber push buttons that respond to the lightest of touch. Braille-raised dots provide both tactile feedback and assistance for the visually impaired. Multicolored, smart LED lighting adds flare while identify the input source selection. The user can download the WAND App to a phone or tablet, allowing them to access media across devices, send music streams to a speaker or groups of speakers and control all speaker functions. The WAND app pairs with cloud music services internationally and allows for multiple users at any time.

The speaker’s aluminum mesh front grill adds maximum porosity for minimal acoustical interference. The grill hides three driver channels, each using proprietary long throw 60mm full-range transducers. These drivers, coupled with four passive radiators, deliver the powerful audio normally expected from a larger pair of speakers. A rubber I/O cover smoothes the appearance while adding dust and splash resistance. FESTIVAL offers analog, digital and full-function USB connections for non-Bluetooth devices, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, AirPlay, DLNA and DDMS.

The compact ARENA and full-range FESTIVAL tabletop speakers include RIVA Audio’s patented Trillium™ audio technology, a patented three-channel audio processor system that enlarges the audio image. Thanks to Trillium, installers can deliver immersive stereo sound from a single speaker, giving the installer greater placement flexibility to fit into any décor.

A fully networked solution for multi-space audio, the WAND series also provides installers flexible options for their customers to use in the home or on the go. A unique “Away” mode, with the optional battery pack, allows the speakers to form their own mesh network for use at the beach, park, or any place without its own Wi-Fi network. With the WAND app dealers can create a multi-speaker setup with up to 32 devices without sacrificing audio quality or features. The WAND series enables synchronized audio streaming from multiple sources via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, AirPlay, DLNA, DDMS and Chromecast built-in enabled, at rates up to 24bit/192KHz. Users can transmit audio via Bluetooth from their mobile device or networked music library. Finally, WAND speakers are interoperable with other Chromecast built-in speakers and devices.
