RIVA’s WAND ARENA speaker delivers stereophonic sound for an audio experience as close to live as it gets with technology to compliment the listeners’ modern lifestyle. ARENA is the first speaker in the WAND (Wireless Audio Network Design) Series, a customizable and easy-to-use multi-space audio system delivering high-quality sound to every room or outdoor location from any networked or local source. ARENA delivers high-fidelity audio wirelessly and lets you take your favorite audio anywhere through innovative achievements in engineering.

RIVA’s WAND series is designed with an open architecture, and unlike most wireless speakers, offers multiple connectivity options. Systems can range from a single direct connection to a whole-environment wireless networked audio system that can simultaneously stream to up to 32 speakers. Listen to high-resolution music, networked digital music files, podcasts, YouTube channels, or music services like Pandora and Spotify through multiple connectivity options including Wi-Fi, DDMS, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, DLNA, Bluetooth and Chromecast built-in enabled. RIVA WAND’s dual band WI-FI supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks for greater robustness and reliability against interference.

RIVA’s patented audio technology, Trillium™, gives listeners an audio experience as close to live as it gets by using three discrete channels to create stereophonic sound much larger than the actual single speaker’s size. By comparison, most wireless speakers are mono or quasi-stereo. Trillium enlarges the audio image while allowing the signal power of the audio to be reproduced without perceptible compression.

RIVA ARENA’s audio design features our patented transducer system configuration with three custom ADX splash-resistant, neodymium magnetic, long- throw 60mm full-range transducers that seamlessly reproduces a full frequency range from 55Hz to 18KHz,. RIVA’s 3channel amplifier and  advanced digital signal processing utilizes the finest components available today to deliver over 50 Watts of power with close to zero distortion.

The top cover is an attractive, impact and scratch resistant polycarbonate, providing a long lasting, “new” appearance. ARENA’s modern design contributes to ease of use with five rubber push buttons that respond to the lightest touch. Braille raised dots near buttons provide both tactile feedback while also assisting the visually impaired. Smart LED lighting adds a flare while helping users easily identify the input source selection: White for WiFi, Blue for Bluetooth, Red for Auxiliary, etc….

ARENA’s front aluminum mesh grill is custom designed for maximum porosity providing minimal acoustical interference. The grill hides three channels, each using proprietary 60mm full-range transducers. This coupled with three passive radiators delivers powerful audio normally expected from larger speakers. A rubber I/O cover adds dust/splash resistance.

ARENA provides stereophonic sound from a single speaker, no need to buy two speakers for stereo - saving space and money without disrupting the decor. ARENA’s unlimited connectivity contributes to its design by helping it fit into modern lifestyles. ARENA offers a full-function USB, 3.5 mm analog input for non-Bluetooth devices, while offering connectivity options for every music source via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, AirPlay, DLNA and DDMS. An optional battery pack is also available providing over 16 hours of battery playing time.

Operate ARENA from your smartphone or tablet with the RIVA WAND app. Set up your home’s audio network for full multi-space room control, access media across your network of devices, send music streams to a speaker or groups of speakers, and control all speaker and music functions. The WAND app pairs with cloud music services internationally and allows for multiple users at any time.

The compact ARENA and full-range FESTIVAL tabletop speakers include RIVA Audio’s patented Trillium™ audio technology, a patented three-channel audio processor system that enlarges the audio image. Thanks to Trillium, installers can deliver immersive stereo sound from a single speaker, giving the installer greater placement flexibility to fit into any décor.

A fully networked solution for multi-space audio, the WAND series also provides installers flexible options for their customers to use in the home or on the go. A unique “Away” mode, with the optional battery pack, allows the speakers to form their own mesh network for use at the beach, park, or any place without its own Wi-Fi network. With the WAND app dealers can create a multi-speaker setup with up to 32 devices without sacrificing audio quality or features. The WAND series enables synchronized audio streaming from multiple sources via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, AirPlay, DLNA, DDMS and Chromecast built-in enabled, at rates up to 24bit/192KHz. Users can transmit audio via Bluetooth from their mobile device or networked music library. Finally, WAND speakers are interoperable with other Chromecast built-in speakers and devices.
