Through the software upgrade, lighting control devices and wireless thermostats now connect to an Auriel Controller – which has never been possible before in the brand’s history.

Niles Auriel 2.0 now creates a high-value foundation for any smart home project. The new software delivers end-users with convenient access to lighting scenes and climate scheduling with a few simple clicks on a Niles handheld remote, wall-mounted touch panel, or the Auriel app for Android and iOS mobile devices.

In addition to control, Niles Auriel 2.0 has further expanded the platform’s audio capabilities. The software now includes Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn and other popular Internet radio services built in to the MRC-6430 chassis. One chassis delivers audio to six zones through seven distinct input sources. For larger homes, two chassis can be linked together to create a 12-zone system.
