We took our most innovative product, the X1 settop box, along with system integrators favorite features like HDMI, Optical Digital and RCA Audio Outputs and mixed them into a 1U Rack Space device. We also have this first ever rack mountable STB ready for IP Control and Dolby Atmos broadcast.

The Comcast X1 Rackmount DVR is the only rack mountable settop box of its kind.  Comcast is the only MSO that has a rackmountable option for their DVR's.   It has a sleek appearance that makes any rack look good!  It also removes the need for custom plates or covers to hide unsightly boxes that take away from a fully integrated rack.  With each Rackmount DVR, a customer can have up to 3 additional boxes that are small and can fit directly behind a TV.  The DVR works as a gateway and provides tuners to additional boxes to create a whole home experience that allows for the same features and functionality to be available on every TV.  

The Rackmount DVR is only available to home integrators enrolled in CXI, at this time.  It is fully deployed across the Comcast footprint and customers can have up to 8 on each account for the same price as a standard DVR.

• The X1 Rackmount DVR allows the customer to have a fully integrated rack without the need for customization.  The DVR is easily installed in 1 Unit of the rack.
• The X1 Rackmount DVR showcases X1, including features like Netflix, Pandora, and Facebook
• ATMOS is fully support on all X1 boxes, including the Rackmount DVR to provide a fully immersible experience for customers.
• IP control will be released shortly on all X1 boxes removing the need for IR blasters to be placed on the front of equipment and will improve the speed and improvement of control and remote integration.

• Through CXI, integrators can order Rackmounts to be delivered to their showrooms and warehouses to allow them to fully integrate equipment into racks before delivering them, completed, to the customers home.
• Integrators are able to order Rackmounts as part of a Showroom Demo account to show a customer the sleek look of the boxes in racks, which may win them a customer.
• With the addition of ATMOS, integrators have another avenue to showcase ATMOS receivers and equipment to improve a customer's home viewing experience.
• Appearance is everything, and having a fully integratable, easily installable, Settop box improves the appearance of equipment in complex home racks.
