The infiNET EX® Wireless IR/RS-232 Control Module (INET-IOEX-IRCOM) offers a simple wireless solution for controlling wired devices, thereby eliminating the challenge and substantial cost of cutting into walls and ceilings, trenching a yard, fishing through insulation, or laying conduit and pulling cables to get wires out to control remote devices.

Crestron infiNET EX® technology offers a wireless solution, enabling you to control many devices in or around a home, thereby eliminating the need to cut into walls and ceilings, trench a yard, fish through insulation, or lay conduit and pull cables to get wires out to the pool or front gate to control these devices.

Now, with the infiNET EX Wireless IR/RS-232 Control Module (INET-IOEX-IRCOM) you can wirelessly control wired devices, such as consumer TVs, pools, spas, vehicular gates, and more. Using the INET-IOEX-IRCOM you just connect this tiny device by the pool controller or gate motor, for example, and communicate via 2.4 GHz RF mesh network technology. It’s not disruptive to the homeowner and saves a huge amount of time and money.

The INET-IOEX-IRCOM is a very compact and low-cost wireless device that is perfect for use in retrofits, historic buildings, rental homes and offices, or any budget-conscious application. It provides an IR and RS-232 control interface for video displays, AV components, small appliances, and other equipment. Virtually anything that can be controlled with an IR remote or serial interface can be integrated with a Crestron control system using the INET-IOEX-IRCOM. It includes two discrete IR ports and one bidirectional RS-232 port, and communicates with the control system via the infiNET EX wireless network, enabling control and monitoring of the remote equipment without having to run wires through walls and ceilings.
