The Crestron DM-MD16X16 provides ultra-fast switching and lossless distribution of HDMI® and other signals to support all the source and display devices that fill any modern home. HD, 4K/60Hz, H.264 streaming, HDCP 2.2 compliance, and digital audio encoding/decoding are all card-based for maximum flexibility and easy reconfiguration as needs change.

Today, video is all about 4K and streaming. With the Crestron DM-MD16X16 DigitalMedia™ Switcher, you don’t have to choose. You can distribute zero-latency, uncompressed HD video over copper or fiber and deliver high-performance H.264 streaming, all in the same matrix frame.

The DM-MD16X16 provides ultra-fast switching and pure, lossless distribution of HDMI® and other signals to support all the digital media players, HDTV receivers, computers, cameras, and display devices that fill any modern home or commercial facility. DigitalMedia thoughtfully manages all of the disparate AV signals and devices to deliver a transparent user experience, and to ensure an optimum video image and audio signal at every location.

Flexibility and expandability are hallmarks of the DM® family of products, and the DM-MD16X16 is no exception. HD, 4K/60 Hz, streaming, HDCP 2.2 compliance (an industry first), and digital audio encoding/decoding are all card-based for maximum flexibility and easy reconfiguration as your needs change.

Installer-friendly, the DM-MD16X16 is field-configurable to handle up to 16 AV sources of virtually any type. The outputs are also field-configurable to provide up to 16 DM, HDBaseT®, and/or HDMI outputs, or up to eight H.264 streaming outputs, in a single chassis.

DM is still the only end-to-end system certified by the HDBaseT Alliance. While others may offer a certified extender or matrix switch, DM transmitters, extenders, receivers, scalers, and switchers are all HDBaseT certified. Many 4K sources and displays are incompatible. DM corrects them and ensures the best image quality and fastest switch times, regardless. Simply, DM makes everything work, whereas with others you often get cut off or stretched images, dropped pixels, or no image at all.
