With the ability to cook in light clouds and freezing weather, reaching internal temperatures up to 550°F/280°C while remaining cool to touch, GoSun’s patented vacuum tube technology is bringing solar cooking to the mainstream.

How It Works

GoSun solar ovens incorporate a proprietary vacuum tube technology that allows for fast cooking, portability, simple operation, and safe cooking without propane or charcoal.  Sunlight is focused by parabolic reflectors onto the vacuum tube that converts up to 80 percent of the sun’s rays into heat that builds up to temperatures of 550oF or 288oC.  Despite the high cooking temperatures, the exterior of the grill remains cool to the touch. The vacuum tube also doubles as an insulator that keeps the food hot, regardless of wind or freezing cold.

The GoSun Fusion integrates a thermal heating element into the base of the cooking tray, needing no more than a twelve-volt battery to cook a full meal. The heating element is captured in a stainless-steel encasement, allowing for an even distribution of heat within the vacuum tube chamber. The Fusion will be available for $399 with additional upgrades and accessories also available.
