Futurian Systems - Luxury Yacht

       The Caribbean Islands harbor some of the most beautiful boats in the world. Many of us make these islands a vacation to escape the realities of the real world, and some charter magnificent vessels to tour those islands during their stay.

When Hurricane Irma developed in late 2017, many of the islands and the boats around them took a direct hit from one of the most devastating Category 5 Hurricanes on record. The damages sustained from this storm left the islands demolished and many boats abandoned. Soon after the hurricane, the people of St. Maarten went to work in rebuilding their island and restoring the boats that had been badly damaged. Once such boat was the Lady Sharon Gale (LSG).

The owner of the LSG had worked with Futurian Systems on several previous projects in multiple homes across the country. Futurian was requested to fly down and take a look at the electronics within the LSG and determine a plan to upgrade all such systems to an even better state than before.

Futurian’s President, Jeremy Beck, flew to St. Maarten in early 2018 to investigate the condition of the yacht and determine the scope of the project. Upon arrival to the island, Jeremy was shocked to see the devastation caused by the hurricane, and how it had impacted the LSG.

Nonetheless, Jeremy’s team had been involved in other projects that had required a massive overhaul such as this and took on the project with all confidence to restore the LSG’s system to please the owner, while amaze the guests who were to charter this magnificent yacht.
