Berkeley on the Bend
When you think of the Low country it brings to mind the sounds of nature, the marsh views that are unlike anywhere else in the world, beautiful sunsets, and country living. This beautiful Low Country home with it’s Italian slate rooflines, see through infinity pool, and 300 ft dock leading into the Colleton river is not only rich in beauty and craftsmanship, but also boasts one impressive Home Automation and A/V System. Breathtaking spiral staircases leading up through custom venetian walls directed the lighting design and dictated the need for unlimited system control with access from anywhere on the property.
The Automation System is smart. Really smart. Unlike a lot of "Automation Systems" which simply give the user a bunch of useless apps, the Elan system actually acts as the manager within the home and directs the home's sub systems; Lighting Control, A/V, Security, and Pool/Spa Systems to start working together. Voice control, geo fencing, and astronomical time clocks are all used to trigger programmed events based on the users lifestyle.
AIC integrated the following systems to make this happen:
(105) Interior Lutron QS Lighting Zones
(11) Exterior Lighting Zones
Lutron Fan Speed Control
(17) High Resolution distributed audio zones
(4) 4K Sony OLED distributed video Zones
Security, Fire, and Water Detection
(12) Elan 7” Touchscreens
Infinity Pool & Spa Control
Professional grade Indoor/Outdoor WIFI solution
Bluebolt Battery Back-Up
Geo Thermal / Radiant Heat Control
