Refresh Smart Home was founded in 2014 by a group of health-conscious friends who wanted to help families create a healthy home environment by limiting exposure to indoor air pollutants, Smart home technology began to encompass indoor quality soon after the company formed so it was a natural fit for us to expand our products and services into the larger realm home automation products in the areas of security, energy efficiency, and home audio.

Soon after its inception, Refresh Smart Home joined the Nest Pro program, a network of more than 20,000 HVAC, Electrical and Security installers, allowing them to offer their customers Pro pricing and extended five-year warranties on the Nest Thermostat and Nest Protect smoke and CO alarm systems. They also integrated the Nest offerings with the IQAir air purification systems and WiFi air quality monitors from Foobot and Awair to allow for whole-house indoor air quality automation. Their portfolio of products has expanded gradually to include other smart, connected products, and today Refresh Smart Home offers a complete array of premium smart home products such as Nest, Ring, Sonos, Philips Hue, Lutron, Google Home, Amazon Echo, Leaksmart, Airthings, Wink, Wemo, Liftmaster, August, and iRobot.

In our few years of existence, we are proud that our crew’s commitment to providing effective smart home solutions for homeowners while delivering the highest level of customer service has led us to being the top-rated Nest Elite installer in New York and LA. We understand we do not have the typical background of a custom integrator but we carry the same principles and have set the highest standards of service common with best integrators in the industry. We constantly learn from the great number of integration companies that show their creativity and innovation in the great projects commissioned to them. At the same time, one of our goals as a company is to bring smart home technology to the masses and to be a great source of education in a manner that is easily understood. We are extremely happy that our clients have taken well to our delineation of the smart home into the following four categories: Healthy, Safe, Energy Efficient and Fun. Many are first interested in only one or two of the categories but over time they take interest in the others as they learn more about what value certain smart home products can bring into their lives.

We feel extremely fortunate to have been able to enter this industry almost 'by mistake' and have had the opportunity to build the knowledge and skills over several years to serve our clients in a manner that they deserve. We are also a company that believes in giving back and are a proud member of '1% for the Planet' to whom we have committed 1% of our total sales towards non-profit work that helps save the planet and preserves the resources that sustain our health- food, air and water.
