The ET-739 Voice-Activate WiFi Thermometer is easy to use as it connects simply and works with the users' phone or through voice commands with an Alexa unit. It tells the user when their food will be done, checking the progress of anything cooking in their oven or grill from anywhere.

The ET-739 Voice-Activated WiFi Thermometer is the first Alexa enabled food thermometer to hit the market. It is completely WiFi capable, connects quickly with Bluetooth, and is compatible with both iOS and Android. The user can see the entire cooking process on their phone or tablet and the unit has a color-coded ring that changes as the food cooks.

The connection is done by Bluetooth and is very simple.  It will tell you it is finding the unit and it will show the unit.  When it does it will ask for your Amazon sign-in ID and Password.  Then it will look for your router name and once selected you have to put in your home router and password.  Once this is done the installation is automatic as you will see on the YouTube. 

Once the app is installed it will stay on your phone or your pad or both.  It will show you the temperature of the food in your oven or grill and can show two items at once.  You can set the temperature on your phone or by telling Alexa - "Set the temperature of probe 1" or Set the temperature of probe 1 to Beef rare.  You can set the timer.  Once your food is cooking and reaches 90F degrees it will track the progress of the food and you can ask Alexa "When will my food be ready"?  You can check the progress on your phone from any location - for instance, you have to leave your house to go to the store and you can check if it is cooking faster or slower than you think or have someone else in your house take it from the oven.
