The Brilliant Control is smart home control panel that replaces an existing light switch to give you touch, voice, and motion control over lights, music, climate, and other smart home products. Using wireless, bluetooth, and connecting to existing hubs, the Brilliant Control gives you touch, voice, and motion control access to Sonos, Bose, Nest, Ecobee, Honeywell, Philips Hue, SmartThings, Wink, Lutron, Wemo, IFTTT, and many other smart home products. Alexa and Google Assistant are built in, so you can ask it for news, weather, and more and get both an audio and visual response. Interactive sensors such as a camera, microphone, motion sensor, ambient light sensor, temperature, and more allow for advanced integration with security and climate systems, as well as provide video intercom and mobile app-to-device viewing and control. 

The design of the Brilliant Control is a breakthrough in user friendly design. The HD touchscreen and touch-sensitive sliders make for simple intuitive use, and full voice capabilities are provided without the need of an Amazon Echo or Google Home device. Yet the overall look of the product respects the historical Decora design of the light switch, allowing it to easily fit into a wide range of home styles. Once installed, the Brilliant Control will auto-discover other smart home products and hubs on the network. Naming and grouping those products by room can be done directly on the Control, or using the mobile app, and full diagnostics are available for troubleshooting on the mobile app for remote management. Adding advanced integrations can be done with direct over-the-air software updates. 

The Brilliant Control is extremely fault tolerant, and peers all data between Controls so that all capabilities are fully accessible from all devices. If WiFi is unavailable, it can use Bluetooth to connect between devices. 

We designed the Brilliant Control to be the first mass market product for smart home automation. Integrators can use it to "get people started" in home automation with 2-3 units, upgrade homes that have installed Sonos, Nest, etc. but struggle with the family using those products, or in large luxury installations as a complement to large scale systems, or single solution. The installation flexibility means you can upgrade an existing home, make it part of a renovation, or as a late stage home automation solution for a new home. Much like Sonos has done, we expect this to open a whole new market for integrators and installers.
