       This project was designed to meet the clients expectations, that the home technology equipment operate without fail, as well as keeping each room in the home “clutter free” of bulky equipment. This required our team to coordinate with the builder and designer to ensure seamless concealing of as much high end audio/video and home automation equipment as possible.

The goal was to take this 3,500 sq. ft. home and cleverly disguise as much home technology as possible without comprising quality, or equipment effectiveness.

We designed a home automaton system consisting of:

- (8) distributed Audio Zones
- (4) 4K Distributed Video Zones
- (3) Smaller Audio/Video Equipment Racks Bolted Together
- BlueBolt battery backup and energy management system
- Massive network and WiFi coverage
- Hidden 4K Mirror TV with custom built back-box designed and installed by our technicians

We selected the Elan g! control system to best suit the needs of our client, which controls the clients audio, video, and future installations of lighting and shades. The user friendly GUI on the iPad control and the live TV guide, allows the homeowner to search and select programming on the app, while other users can continue to view the current programming without looking at the pop up menus on the TV.

The Audio Video system is completely hidden. We used (3) small audio video racks that we bolted together to house and hide all the equipment within a confined and hidden space. Furthermore, the use of BlueBolt’s energy management system and auto rebooting allows service of the system without the need to physically be on premise.

       This home required the wiring and most of the electronics to be hidden, with TV’s in various rooms being the exception. In addition to the audio video racks being bolted together and concealed in a dedicated audio video room, the family room is designed with a hidden 4K Mirror TV and 2.1 channel audio system.

We custom built the mirror TV using a Sony XBR 900 Series 4K HDTV, Opticlear ultra mirrored glass, a custom built back box designed by our technicians, all operated via the Elan g! control system.

Two Sunfire XD Series Cinema Ribbon in-wall speakers and a Sunfire in-wall subwoofer with dual 8” woofers to create a hidden sound system with depth and clarity. The Yamaha Aventage AVR and Sunfire 500 watt subwoofer amplifier provide the raw power behind the doors. This system is easy to control using the Elan App on any mobile device and using the wand style Elan remote control. 

The Holiday’s are important to family entertainment. The distributed audio system has full access to all of the major streaming services and full TV playback using the Autonomics Mirage audio server, Sonos Wireless Music System and Elan Audio System. Furthermore, the porch has a wall mounted SunBrite 55" 4K HDTV that is paired with overhead mounted speakers. All of which is controlled via the Elan system for full audio and HDTV system management. 

NetGear Nighthawk routers and a NetGear managed gigabit switch allows for seamlessly distributed AC WIFI throughout the entire house, including the outdoor entertainment area. The Bluebolt Energy Management system with scheduled power cycling and remote service, allows our technicians to tend to issues before the client is aware.

       Our client wanted a system that could be easily controlled while he was home, or away traveling. He also wanted a concealed system that did not showcase bulky electronics.

We installed an electronic infrastructure of bundled RG 6 Quad Shield Solid Copper Coax and Cat5e, Speaker cable, and control cable for all aspects of his home automation system. This system is controllable by the Elan g! system. The systems we integrated include:

- Whole house audio
- Video distribution
- Networking and WiFi
- Outdoor audio
- Outdoor video
- Access control
- Energy management system

We designed the home technology to make our client’s life simpler while concealing as much equipment as possible.

The Elan Home Systems platform allowed us to utilize remote controls and mobile devised to control the entire automation system and still keep the same concealed look throughout the home.
The Great Room has a custom built mirror TV complete with a Sony 4K 55” HDTV and a Sunfire Cinema Ribbon sound system that is distributed from the A/V rack system. Thus exceeding our clients expectations as the first thing any guest will see when entering the home is a beautiful mirror, concealing a large flat screen TV.
The Kitchen has a Sony 43” 4K HDTV on a full motion mount above the refrigerator paired with Niles in-ceiling speakers, also apart of the distributed A/V system. Allowing the client to pull the TV from the wall when ready to view, or push back out of sight when not viewing.

All of our equipment and necessary home controls are in a (3)12 space A/V rack system that we bolted together and hid behind a service door in the pantry.
