Starke Sound’s IW-H5 Elite loudspeaker combines exceptional audio quality with stunning industrial design, featuring key elements including LMF Driver technology, beryllium tweeters, carbon-fiber driver cones and expanded volume. This powerful combination preserves low frequency response, enabling the IWH5 to function as on-wall/in-wall loudspeaker while delivering sound/performance of a floor-standing model.

Starke Sound’s IW-H5 Elite loudspeaker, with its powerful combination of performance and craftsmanship, is best suited for on-wall positioning, however the cabinet depth design allows a comfortable fit into any home-theater wall assembly while maintaining a similar internal volume to floor standing models.

The IW-H5, like all Starke Sound loudspeakers, utilize Starke’s patented Linear Magnetic Field™ (LMF) technology, specifically designed to increase range while minimizing distortion. Linear Magnetic Field (LMF) Technology combines various types of magnets (particularly Neodymium Iron Boron and Ferrite magnets) for its magnetic assembly. This groundbreaking, patented system creates a uniform magnetic field along the signal path during the winding movement of the magnetic core. Compared to traditional non-uniform magnetic field design, the LMF Technology can effectively reduce the distortion of the magnetic circuitry to an unbelievable 1%.

In addition, Starke’s unique beryllium tweeters can reproduce high frequencies with amazing detail. Starke’s carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRTP) driver cones provide strength and rigidity to minimize structural deflections while maintaining subtle acoustic variations. The relatively large sized driver magnets are Y35 Strontium Barium high strength magnets, which are proven to have the least magnetic field distortion.  As the heart and soul of the loudspeaker, Starke Sound's engineers and designers emphasize the simplification of crossover design in order to diminish distortion. Huge dynamic range, amazing levels of detail, and rich, deep-reaching bass characterize the sonic signature of the IW-H5.
